Mike Wittry

Mike Wittry has lived in Roatan since 2012 and previously worked as a real estate broker in Wisconsin and Michigan, where he brokered over 2400 transactions. Mike has extensive experience working with buyers, sellers and negotiating good contracts.

After moving to Roatan, Mike found that he missed real estate and became a partner with Marco Rosales at Roatan Land and Homes, the oldest and most trusted real estate brokerage on the island. Mike and Marco work as a team. Marco is a life-long island native and has been a real estate broker in Roatan since 1991. He has tremendous knowledge of the island, the sea, land ownership, new construction, and how to get things done in Roatan.

Many of our customers are repeat buyers and sellers. Our customers become friends. We know how to find the right deals for buyers and we are not afraid to approach unlisted property owners to find a great deal in a good location for a buyer.

Mike has served as the President of The Rotary Club of Roatan for three different terms. He is the President of the Keyhole Bay Homeowners Association in West Bay and the owner of Pies Bonitos Sandals with locations in West Bay and at the Macaw Market.

Mike can explain everything that a foreigner needs to know before investing in real estate in the Bay Islands. Mike is happy to answer all of your questions about the ex-pat lifestyle and island living. When Mike is not working, you will find him volunteering his time on Rotary International projects or golfing at the Black Pearl.
