Located in the heart of the tourist area of Playa del Came, a few steps from the famous Fifth Avenue, bars, beach and nightclubs.
Designed by Samy Hayek, recognized in California, the Veracruz designer captures the beauty of the cenotes of the Riviera Maya in each of the spaces of this beautiful building
Developed by the most prestigious builders on the Yucatan Peninsula
The exterior of Volta is clad in custom-made, handmade volcanic tiles, which present a range of blue tones that range from dark to light, like the waters of the cenotes. More than 200 ceramic lights hang suspended like the vines that adorn the underground caverns and follow the same ascending color scheme as the tiles.
Establishing the same guideline for the interior of the building is the spectacular lobby, which also resembles the cenotes of the Riviera Maya. A water mirror with handmade volcanic tiles and enameled lava rocks pay homage to both Playa del Carmen and Mexico’s rich colonial and architectural heritage. The lobby offers a warm and welcoming experience that echoes the experience of life.
The same Volta design theme extends to the rooftop, a private oasis for residents and their guests, with bespoke design and furnishings by Hayek. The glistening pool features the same blue-hued volcanic tile found throughout Volta. The Rooftop was conceived to foster a sense of community and provide an inclusive experience that organically brings people together.
